Michael Parkan, CEO and Founder

Michael Parkan is the founder and chief executive of CTO 24/7, a company focused on helping its clients remain at the forefront of their industries with innovative uses of technology to operate their businesses more efficiently.  His market vision, leadership, entrepreneurial philosophy and values have enabled the company to consistently grow – during periods when many other technology companies have stumbled – and to achieve remarkable levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Parkan initially started CTO 24/7 with the goal of creating an organization that would bring big company software development capabilities to the SMB market. The idea was to provide the management, processes, tools, local talent, and remote talent – typically available only to the largest organizations – to create world class solutions for smaller clients looking for ways to use technology to drive business results. Today we provide these services to organizations from startups to companies ranked in the Fortune 500.

As the company grew, he became more aware that while the software his company created was bringing all the anticipated benefits to clients, there were occasions were software alone, or technology in general, was not always the best or only solution to company needs.  In response to this observation, he expanded the company service offerings to include additional Business Process and Transformation services, where CTO 24/7 would be able to bring best-fit, highest ROI solutions to clients – using whatever combination of technology and process adaptation brought the most value.  Over the years he has continued to expand the company service offerings to provide a full range of support services including Technical Staff Augmentation, Executive Level IT Leadership, and Technical Recruiting.

Ben McCullough, Technology Director

Ben McCullough has been with CTO 24/7 since 2001 and has over 12 years of experience in information systems planning, management, development, and integration.  Ben is an experienced technology executive who has built a proven track record of successfully delivering technology-based solutions to a wide range of clients in a variety of industries. He is an effective leader and innovator, who blends an approachable personal style with a hands-on technical expertise that has been invaluable in managing and building the Technology Department at CTO 24/7.

Ben is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin.
